After our company was purchased, we received access to their
corporate communications department, including help with writing press
releases. All we have to do is supply
the details, images and information we want to convey in the write up. The press release gets written and the final
draft is returned to us for review and final approval. With this accessibility, we can produce press
releases a few times a month to get the exposure we need in the maritime
community. Before our purchase, we
didn’t write many press releases because we didn’t have much of a marketing or
communications department. Many
recognize our name on the west coast, and a small number across the U.S., but
internationally very limited.
With the exposure of our frequent press releases in the
maritime market, our company name has become more familiar on the waterfront. Our capabilities and service offerings have
grown and people are starting learn this through our press releases. We are not just a small company anymore, but
have grown and have the backing of our parent company. We have received many inquiries through our
website asking about our services and how we can help them with their
projects. These inquiries come from all
over the world. We’ve also noticed many
more visit our website by clicking our link through the online news sites.
From the examples above, you can see that our exposure has
grown around the world and our company is becoming a familiar name. Thanks to the press releases that circulate
around the globe, we have achieved success of becoming known in the maritime
marketplace.
