Social media in today’s world is a vital and important way to stay connected with the world. It has become the way of how we all communicate with each other. Many of us can’t imagine life without Facebook or Twiiter. How did we survive before this new communication system?
For me, I’m not as up to date on the whole social media
front. I’m only a member on Facebook and
no other sites. I use Facebook to stay
connected with friends around the world, such as US, Norway, Russia and South Africa. If I didn’t have an account, I wouldn’t be up
to date on what is going on with my friends around the globe. Sharing pictures and new events in someone’s
life is a great way for us all to learn about what is going on with each other.
I do not have any experience using social media in my professional
life. The company I currently work for is
owned by our parent company who utilizes all aspects of social media. All this is done through their corporate
communications department and they do take care of my company to make people aware of
us on social networks.
I think I have a lot to learn about social media and how I can
utilize this in my personal life and for professional development.
